Sari silk roving is manufactured with the mill ends cut from weaving looms during the creation of silk saris. The threads are then carded together and pulled to form roving. Carding the threads make the fiber easy to blend with wools and other fiber creating a lot of interest. It can also be spun on it's own. This is a fuschia dyed roving, but it also has some purple combed into it.
