I remember the double knit trend. Clothes you could make yourself easily, not a lot of yardage needed as knits were 60 inches wide. They didn’t ravel so the patterns were simpler. This pattern is a good example. Pattern pieces for the dress or tunic are belt, sleeve, back, and front. The pants are even better just a back and front because the waist is elastic. McCall’s #3159 copyright 1972 is a pattern for a dress or tunic and pants, half size 22 ½, bust 45 for unbounded stretchable knits only. It is uncut and the envelope is a little rough but in good condition. There are 3 tears but all the paper is there and they are small.
