Natural freshwater snail shells that are perfect for terrariums, pendants, and more!
These shells were found along the Illinois River, specifically in Ottawa, IL. I believe that they are in the taxonomic genus Pleurocera, which is comprised of various hornsnail species. Their empty shells are present in rather large quantities on the river’s shore.
I have several colors available. If you would like a specific color, just let me know in the “Note to Seller” box. I’m happy to accommodate any needs as long as I’m capable of fulfilling them.
These have been washed in diluted bleach and will be individually rinsed before being shipped out. Expect a little bit of sand to be in the shells, though; it’s near impossible to get all the little grains out.
These will be shipped in a padded envelope with tracked shipping, hence the higher shipping price. This is to prevent breakages during shipping.
