The amount of naturally dyed silk thread on each spool ranges from about 3 to 8 yards.
It was all hand dyed and wound by me onto each vintage wooden spool.
The winding is not "machine-uniform".
Since these wooden spools have been previously used, most of them have nicks, dents, and missing labels.
Please remember that each computer monitor displays color in its' own way.

These naturally dyed silk threads are perfect any textile art project that could use a touch of lovely, natural color.
I recommend hand washing in cool water with mild soap and line drying in the shade to preserve the delicate luster and color of the silk.
These wooden spools wrapped with naturally dyed silk thread would be a lovely addition to a vintage spool collection.
