This publication was inspired by a beautiful "vintage" runner that I purchased years ago in one of my antiquing ventures. Be sure to look at all the pictures to see both projects. I am so happy it fell into my hands. I use it every year on my dining room table during the Christmas holidays and I've never tired of it. For all these years I have wanted to reproduce it, but just never found the time to graph it. Well, my wonderful daughter, Hollis, agreed to do the graphing for me. I also wanted to do a sampler inspired by the runner, hence the "Peacock Manor" sampler. I chose not to stitch the runner again. You will need to stitch it on an 18 to 20 count linen, using two to three plies over two threads. Because you will probably have to wash your runner, I recommend DMC floss. The sampler is stitched on 30 Count "Cafe Kona" hand-dyed linen by R & R Reproductions, using two plies over two threads of hand-dyed fibers. An Alternate Color Code is given. Stitch Count of the runner is 337 Long X 132 Wide. Stitch Count of the sampler is 132 Wide X 142 High.
You will receive the Design graphs for both designs, color picture, and all instructions.
