Item details

This is dyed with Red clover and over dyed with Indigo.

This is icelandic plötulopi, the same as is used in icelandic sweater (lopapeysa), It takes time and a bit of practice to work with it :) but you get a strong so soft fiber out of it, that is still warm when wet and tolerates water so well.

The wool is hand dyed by me with wild flowers that I choose and pick. The method has been handed down for generations unchanged and I do not use anything that pollutes in any way. That means that I do only use some of the mordants used in plant dying, as some of them pollute.
The process of making this yarn has not harmed our planet and nature in any way :)

The price is for
50 gr. 150 meters
1,7637 oz. 492 feet.
