Japanese BORO aizome hand spun cotton + woven textile 'almost' in plain / solid indigo blue + a charming cherry blossom at the end of textile. Perhaps when the textile was connected the other panels there was a large katazome cherry pattern or family emblem in the middle of the panels, and this textile has the edge of the pattern. Probably it was a futon cover / duvet or noren / curtain at the entrance. It is light - middle light weighted textile and having kind of soft warm touch as typical homespun textile does. The color at back side is same as front side so you may use as reversible textile.
In fine vintage condition, there is no remarkable damages. The strength of textile is kept well and indigo color is still deep yet certainly not new.
