This yarn is hand-dyed in small batches, and no two skeins are exactly alike, even in the same dye batches/lots, adding to their beauty and uniqueness. I work to represent the colors as accurately as possible in my photography, but colors vary from monitor to monitor, and in different types of lighting. When knitting larger projects with hand-dyed yarn, it is recommended to alternate two separate skeins every other row, to keep a consistent look.
All yarn is rinsed and washed thoroughly until the water runs clear, however, some slight bleeding may occur the first few washes, as with any new garment. If there is significant or persistent color bleeding, please contact me immediately so we can resolve the issue. Bleeding can be avoided by following the care instructions. Care Instructions: Hand-wash separately & gently, in cold water with an unscented wool wash (like Eucalan) or mild detergent, gently press out excess water with a towel (do not rub), lay flat to dry.
PLEASE NOTE: Hand-dyed skeins are not ready to be knit as is, and it is recommended that the hank be wound into a ball or "cake" via a ball winder and yarn swift (or you and a friend's patient hands) before using to avoid tangling. If you need this service, I am happy to do it, just choose the "cake my hank" option at checkout!
Once your item has shipped, you will be notified and given a USPS tracking number.
Your item will be shipped to the address you provided to Etsy. If you would like your item shipped elsewhere, please tell me before paying. I am happy to mail it to another address.
I accept payments via Direct Checkout and PayPal.
Full payment must clear before I will ship your order.
If you use an e-check through PayPal, payment must be cleared (which may take up to a week) before I will ship your order.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Items on sale

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
I accept returns under the following criteria:
You must notify me within 7 days of receiving your package that you will be returning it.
It must be sent back in it's original state and still in brand new condition.
Once I receive the package and it has met the above criteria, your refund will be issued.
You will be responsible for the shipping cost when returning the item.
Due to their nature, there are no refunds on electronic files.
