This pen was handmade by me in our woodshop located in the East Foothills of San Jose, California.
It's made from Camatillo wood from Central America and the pen is a Magnetic Vertex Style fountain pen in Gun Metal with a refillable cartridge along with 3 disposable color cartridges. The pen measures a total of 5 5/8" long when closed and the lid magnetically connects to either end of the pen.
The following high quality FPR German two-tone nib sizes are available:
~ Extra Fine: The Extra Fine nib writes with a 0.4mm line and are FPR nibs are tipped with high quality German material for a smooth writing experience. ~ Fine: The two tone Fine nib writes a 0.5mm line and the FPR nib is tipped with high quality German material for a smooth writing experience. ~ Medium: The medium nib writes a 0.65mm line and all FPR nibs are tipped with high quality German material for a smooth writing experience. ~ Broad: The Broad nib writes with a 0.75mm line and all FPR nibs are tipped with high quality German material for a smooth writing experience. ~ Stub (1mm): The Stub nib writes with a 0.4mm horizontal line and 0.9-1.0mm vertical line. My goal is to make each piece as unique as possible so when you receive an item from my store, it's one of a kind and I will never make another Camatillo fountain pen again. Since I've only been doing woodturning for about six months, I'm still learning the art of a perfect, sustaining finish but all pens are sanded smooth to 10k and polished to a glossy, if not glassy finish. I try to price everything fairly reasonable because I know what I paid for the materials and as long as I make back what it cost me to make the item and a few extra dollars for the next project, I'm happy to price my items around the cost to make it. By no means does the price reflect the care or quality of items that I take to create an item - I'm just really happy to be able to share my hobby with you.
If you do purchase an item and find that the barrel has cracked or a part is malfunctioning - no matter how long you have had it - simply contact me and send the defective pen back to me and I'll either turn a new barrel, replace the part or pen altogether. I want to stand behind my creations so you have some piece of mind when purchasing an item from my store.
Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any questions! if you have any questions!
