Vintage Imperial Satellite 127 Flash Camera - Two Tone Grey with Red Flash, Shutter Button and Selector - Beautiful Camera!

This camera comes with a red flash and bulb - non working - for display only -

*** This camera has been cleaned and hand polished*** It is free from stains, residue and I promise it will not smell like an ashtray***

The Imperial Satellite 127 Flash was made in Chicago by Herbert George. It took 4x4 cm images on 127 film. The Satellite 127 has a switch for Color vs. B&W

Like many Imperial cameras, it was made of plastic and available in several colors. Examples have been observed in red, light blue, gray, black, tan and green. There were also variants with different face plates.

The design is very basic, having fixed focus, one shutter speed and a single aperture; although it was (of course) available with a flash unit. It uses an eye-level viewfinder and has a handy neck strap attached to the sides of the camera's body.

This camera looks great on a shelf with black and white photos. This camera is in nice condition.

Please zoom all photos - this camera is plastic and has light wear / swirls / imperfections and good color :)

There are some small flaws in the finish, it is however... Plastic... so please look closely at the pictures.

The flash has some base cracks in the plastic wear it mounts - you only see this if you remove the flash from the camera and look at the connection pins - the cracks have been glued to reinforce that area - the camera itself has very minimal wear - see / zoom all photos -

For 1950s - it displays beautifully and it is a great color combination.

Condition: This camera is in great shape with no cracks or major damage. The view finders are in place, the shutter button does not work correctly, camera strap is in place with no dry rot. This looks like a great plastic art deco camera from the 1950s.
