This silky smooth single lace weight yarn is truly yummy, so soft, and with a wonderful silky sheen. This fibre mix cries out to be worn against skin where it can be truly appreciated, a small shawl, a scarf, long gloves, a hat, something where you can snuggle right down into it. The natural colour of the yak fibre overdyed takes Goth to a whole new level! A semi solid petrol blue, the blue of a stormy ocean navigated non-stop by tiny, resilient birds, skimming just beyond the grasping fingers of the sea. Colourway: Petrel Head 65% Superwash Merino 15% Yak 20% Silk 100g approx 800m/875yd Cool hand-wash recommended, some colours may bleed a little at first. Will knit to any lace weight pattern with needles from 2.25mm upwards. All my yarn is dyed and stored in a dry , smoke-free atmosphere.
This may be the softest yarn I have ever felt - I hope that you may be dyeing with this one again sometime soon. It's just incredible.
