Item details

This is a fabulous big Victorian cast pewter button which depicts a trident-carrying male figure pouring water from a pitcher in the manner of Aquarius. He is set against a pierced symmetrical background with textured loops alternating with tiny Tudor roses and the edge of the button has a detailed and decorative border.

It measures 3.5cm in diameter and has a shank fixing on the back as shown in the photos.

A gorgeous and very unusual vintage button which would be a great addition to a cosplay, reenactment or SCA costume.

Many thanks for looking.
