Make this quilt with beautiful batiks as shown, or choose your own fabrics. Makes a great scrap quilt too! See this quilt in a black/purple/blue colorway in Photo #3.
This throw quilt measures 54" x 66." Add or delete rows or borders to adjust the size if necessary.
According to the classic book "The Romance of the Patchwork Quilt in America," by Hall and Kretsinger (published 1935), the Lady of the Lake pattern originated in Vermont in 1810. It is one of the few quilt patterns that has never been known by any other name.
This version of the traditional Lady of the Lake design has a modern vibe due to the chevron arrangement on a fresh white background.
Sure to be a treasured family quilt for many years. Makes a wonderful gift for weddings, house-warmings, birthdays and graduations.
This pattern is geared for the confident beginner or intermediate quilter. A rotary cutter is very useful in making this quilt. No special tools or rulers are needed.
