If you live on the west coast, please convo me with your zip code , prior to ordering, so I may give you an actual cost for shipping. If you fail to do this, I will convo you before shipping if there is a great discrepancy in shipping charges. If the shipping charge is unsatisfactory to you, I reserve the right to cancel the order.

That said, I do use recycled packaging to keep costs down, and carefully package every item sent out.
Normally, items are shipped USPS, cheapest way. If you would like a different method, please ask.

If you would like insurance on an item, please let me know and I will add it to the shipping fees. This is important if you experience a mail related damaged item. Without this insurance, you could sustain the loss of the item.
I am not responsible for damage or loss through the postal service. I will give you the information I have on shipping the item, for you to pursue a refund for a damaged item, and you can file an online claim. Taking pictures of the damage is advised.
I also cannot be responsible for delayed shipping because of inclement weather, or insufficient information for delivery. There must be a shipping address, not a PO box for delivery.

I always try to have the item shipped with in five business days, or less, after it is ordered, and many times the item will get to the buyer with in three days after shipment. When an item is shipped standard post, it is a seven day shipment. This is usually used for larger, bulky items. Insurance must be added to the item for standard post and is an extra fee, as stated above. Smaller items shipped Priority mail, include $50.00 of insurance. Please let me know if you would like extra insurance.
If there are extra charges for shipment, I will make you aware before I ship the item, and you may decide if this meets with your approval before the sale is final. Just convo me before you buy the item, for postal costs to your zip code.
I can save the item until the postage is worked out, if you would like me to save for you.


Payments

I accept paypal as well as direct checkout with credit cards accepted by Etsy. Payment is preferred same day as ordered. I will let you know if I must return an item to the store.

Returns & exchanges

Refunds are rarely given and are considered on a case by case basis. If a refund is given, there is a restocking fee of 20% of the cost of the item. Only if the item is not as described or an error has occurred will this be a consideration,I suspend the fee in these cases. Buyers remorse is not considered for a return. Also, if an item is refunded , the buyer pays all shipping, including insurance, and the item must be returned in the same condition as I shipped it to them. Breakage or loss of the item is settled by the post office according to the insurance claim.
Only if all these terms are met will I refund an item and only within 7 days of the sale.
Please be sure this is an item you want before purchasing. Ask many questions if you would like more information. I will be happy to decribe flaws in the item and give you accurate size and color information.



Additional policies

Most of my items are vintage and have been previously, gently used. I will gladly answer convos to clarify a description of an item. I want the buyer to be satisfied with the item.
Also, you may indicate a shipping preference, and I will give you a quote for shipping based on your location.
I try not to ship very fragile items to Alaska, Hawaii, and the west coast as I have seen extra shipping hazzards for these areas.
