From the same team that gave sewers and crafters the very invaluable 505 Basting Spray, comes OdiCoat, a clear, brush-on product which when dry, creates an oil cloth feel and makes fabric water resistant. A glossy or matt finish can be achieved, just keep coating to reach the desired effect. When dry, fabric can then be cut, or sewn, and cleaned with a sponge. It's ideal for place-mats, umbrellas, purses, tote bags, dolls' limbs, hats, outdoor furnishings, shoes and slippers, headbands, sewn storage boxes...the list stretches as far as your imagination!
To use, smooth a coating of OdiCoat onto fabric and then iron-dry through a protective surface such as Baking Parchment, Silicone Release Paper or a Non-Stick Teflon Pressing Sheet to fix it. Repeat to reach desired density. When applied the OdiCoat can be slightly white, but when dry it will become transparent again. You can wash up to 30°C maximum and iron as above. Tub contains 250mls.
