Collection of vintage Art Deco buttons - black geometrics and contrasting mother of pearl Some great geometric Art Deco designs. Sizes up to 1.5" (3.6 cm) long. All as shown. Aged in the 1930-1950 period.
Good vintage condition. These are all vintage buttons which have been preloved.
Re-mounted on card and fabric, as they store and travel better this way. Great for all kinds of craft and sewing projects.
We use bubble wrap, tissue and padded envelopes, as appropriate for the item being shipped.
Postage prices in the UK are for ordinary 1st class post. Orders over £30, will be sent Recorded Delivery at no extra charge.
International postage prices to most of Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and NZ are for ordinary Royal Mail air mail, which I normally find perfectly satisfactory. If you would like your order sent by International Signed For, this will cost an additional £5. (Please convo me to arrange). Orders over £40 will be sent by International Signed for, at no extra cost.
International postage prices to Italy and elsewhere in the world are for International Signed for.
Unfortunately we can no longer combine shipping for several orders. If you purchase more than one item in one order, there is no further shipping charge in the UK, and a minimal additional charge of 50p per item for overseas orders to cover increased weight. But we cannot save your order and combine with future orders as we do not have the storage capacity or admin time to do this.
All orders will be despatched within 2 days, often sooner. Occasionally Iwe are away for a week or so, in which case this will be stated under the shop heading. Orders will be acknowledged but not despatched until we return.
I accept payment by Paypal or by sterling cheque drawn on a UK bank. Paypal only for international customers please – because otherwise bank charges are just too high.
Customers are responsible for any local sales taxes or import duties which may arise.
Returns & exchanges
When you receive your items, if they are not what you expected for any reason, I am happy to offer a full refund if you return the item.
Please note that all my buttons are vintage (unless specifically stated as new). This means that they are at least 30 years old and usually a lot older. I do not clean and polish buttons too hard, as some collectors prefer them in original condition.
The vintage haberdashery I sell is also old – and may shows signs of wear and age.
I consider minor signs of age often add to the charm and authenticity of an item. Remember, you are buying vintage, not from a department store. I try and describe specific faults where these are very noticeable, but please view the photos too, and if you have any questions I am always very happy to answer queries before you buy.
