Handmade by me in my shop in Mars hill NC with USA Parts. The blade is 4" and is 1095 high carbon steel fom Ontario knife company. I convexed the grind and put a hair popping edge on it, much better than factory. The blade could also be blued for free if the buyer wishes. From here I describe the knife in the pic, your knife will be discussed and built to your specs. But all materials and info in the listing hold true... The burlap micarta handles slabs came from a farm right up the street that reuses their burlap feed sacks etc to make knife scales. The color is "Tourquoise Trails" and the brand is Laid up Composites from NC. I have put some light finger grooves in the handle but left it mostly plain for comfort in all gripping positions. The blade, micarta, 3 brass tubes and black liner were all epoxied into place and are as strong as anything else out there. The custom kydex sheath was hand pressed by me, from .080 coyote brown kydex, made in the USA. I use a piece of paracord through the top eyelets and a belt clip locking key clip to make it a dangler sheath, it can easily be taken on and off, you can switch out any of my knives without changing clips and you can turn almost any knife you own into a dangler with this setup. It will also come with a lanyard and adjustable safety closure for use as a neck knife. I will be hand forging my knives in the near future and the price will rise accordingly. This is your chance to own one of my final Bonezcustoms/OKC customized knives. I've gotten more compliments on the color of this knife handle than I have on anything else I've ever worn. All my knives are also rigorously field tested and meet with my personal approval ,as well as getting cleaned/polished back up, before going out the door. Their are some imperfections in all my knives, but nothing offputting or anything that will effect the performance of these tools. These imperfections are what makes this knife truly yours and 1 of a kind. I truly enjoy making knives and I believe a piece if me goes with every knife I sell, I hope my knives bring their owners half the pleasure in use as I had in handcrafting them. I expect this tool to last for generations, and with just a little care, that is not a problem! I own a 60+ year old , old hickory slicer knife that's been in the family since it was new. A light cleaning and oiling after use and it has developed the deepest patina and still takes a razors edge with just a few runs across a ceramic rod. I swear by these knives in the kitchen and in the bush. I carry a version of this knife on my hip everyday, and I wouldn't put my name on them if I wasn't completely confident in their quality. Contact me for custom orders, I can reshape these blades, use any handle materials etc. I also love to restore old knives and cleavers back to working order while keeping as much age as possible. My prices are low because I'm new on the scene. Once I get a few knives out there and people see the quality, the price will go up, don't miss out! Thanks for looking and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or custom orders!
