I so wish that I could do this kind of crochet! This is a great set of vintage booklets by Star - the American Thread Company. First booklet is the Star Tablecloth Book published in 1944. This booklet features 12 tablecloth patterns arranged by month. Book 28 selling for 10 cents. There is some wear to the booklet - with a few rips and some writing on "October". The second booklet is Star Book Number 55 featuring Potholders. Here are all the vintage potholder patterns that I love! Additionally, each potholder has a recipe affiliated with the pattern - for instance, bee potholders have a recipe for honey date sticks and rose potholder has recipe for candied rose petals. So charming! This booklet is in very good condition, although some writing on front and inside front cover. This booklet was published in 1947. The third booklet is book 19 - Star book for the home, including crocheted, knitted, and tatted items for the home including chair back protectors, tablecloths, rugs, doilies, etc. This booklet was published in 1942. This booklet has no writing and is in very good condition. These booklets represent a different time when women were home and had occasion to create items for their home! Total nostalgia! Great booklet collection!

Please remember that I am selling vintage items. Vintage items are not new. They have generally been used in the past. Many of these items are over 50 years old. General signs of wear will be evident. If there are issues that need to be noted, I will tell you in my description. I am generally very good at spotting issues, but occasionally I miss something! Remember that these items reflect the past and exhibit beautiful design and craftsmanship that we cannot often find in today's world.
