The size of the toy depends on the yarn and the hook you use.
For the toy 13-14 cm tall I used: • Main yarn for the main parts of the toy in dark grey, beige, blue, red, brown, black, light grey colors – I used «Lily» by Vita (50g/125m, 100% cotton). «Miami» by Red Heart, «Grace» by Patons, «Cotton 100%» by Katia, «Catania» by Schachenmayr smc will work too. • Additional yarn for the eyes, beard and belt – small amount of brown, light grey and blue yarn – the yarn should be approximately two times thinner than the main yarn • matching crochet hooks – I used 3 mm for the main yarn and 1.5 mm for the additional yarn. • stuffing • sewing pins • tapestry needle
What else you may need: If you want your toy to stand on its own, you will need the following materials: • crochet hook 4 mm • any material to add weight – I used small beads. • a piece of thick cardboard or plastic to make the insoles – I use plastic lids
