LION Toy Sewing Pattern - Plush PDF Pattern Larry Lion Plush Toy Finished Size: 13”/33cm
This cute little lion is the newest addition to the Funky Friends Factory "Out of Africa" range. He’s not a very scary lion, more of a cuddly fellow, but I think he’d be brave enough to scare away the monsters under the bed at night!
RECOMMENDED FABRICS Fleece, of any type, and other stretch fabrics eg. velour, chenille and flannelette. Larry can be made from non-stretch fabrics like quilting cottons - he may just get a few puckers around his snout!
ALL FUNKY FRIENDS FACTORY PATTERNS INCLUDE:
· A colour photo of the Funky Friend. · Full, easy to follow instructions. · A list of material requirements. · A simple layout guide.
***Your pattern PDF Downloadable File will be available once your payment is confirmed.***

This lion is absolutely adorable! The pattern is well sculpted, so the shape of the lion and the way it sits are just perfect! I did find the pattern to be hard to follow. It was hard for me to visualize the way the pieces would fit together, with the provided instructions. The designer did provide a link in the pattern, to which takes you to a blog post with a full photo tutorial. I absolutely wished the tutorial was included with the pattern, because I found that I had to keep going back and forth between my printed pattern and my computer screen in order to complete the project. I’ll definitely need to make a few more before I really feel like I’ve got the hang of it.
Anywho, I for sure wouldn’t call it a beginner pattern. That said, I will absolutely purchase her patterns again and make more!

My first attempt. I used the basic pattern idea and adapted it slightly to make it easier on myself. Even though the pattern and instructions are very easy to follow. It turned out great. Now on to attempt number 2 (both are for my 3 month old son made out of his old clothes)
