Item details

What Fun! This Wrap and Tie Blouse packs LOTS of Style, with the simplest of designs. It only has one main pattern piece for the blouse, and 3 additional pieces for the facings, binding and ties. It also comes with a complete and unused transfer to put the embroidery design on the top as shown.

Marian Martin Patterns were advertised in Newspapers around the country, and offered a broad assortment of Fashionable styles to be sent to Home Sewers thru the mail.

Size 18: ALWAYS go by the pattern MEASUREMENTS, as sizing changes from year to year, and from company to company:
Bust: 36"
Waist: Adjustable with Ties

Unprinted pattern. Factory Cut. Perforated numbers. Fully Printed instructions.

Used, complete. I carefully open, count, and check all of my patterns before listing.
(If a pattern is in Factory Folds, I will not unfold it.)

Condition: This pattern is in Good Vintage Condition. It HAS been used, as there are light pencil marks on the main pattern piece. There were two small tears on the tissue, which I repaired with Archival Document Repair Tape (NOT "scotch" tape).
The Flap is intact. Instructions had one small tear, also repaired with Archival Document Repair Tape.

That being said, ALL OF MY PATTERNS ARE SOLD AS IS. There are NO RETURNS on vintage sewing patterns.
Sewing patterns are "EPHEMERA", which means that they were meant to be used, and then thrown away.
EVEN THE BEST PATTERNS CAN HAVE "ISSUES". Tiny tears, big tears, stains, rips, foxing, obscured images.

Please refer to each of the pictures so that you have all of the provided information. I do my best to describe my items, and photos are an additional "Description". I never want my clients to be disappointed in their purchases, and looking at all photos is one way to insure that you'll be pleased.

If you have a question about an item, please let me know and I will do my best to get you the information you need

To cut down on stress to fragile envelopes, pattern pieces won’t always be put back in their envelopes, but in this case they WILL be sent in the same archival sleeve.

This is a smaller pattern size envelope than the standard: 5.25" x 8"

The price for shipping is for the Continental United States. I ship USPS unless other arrangements are made. If you are outside the US please contact me with your mailing address and I will get back to you with the actual cost to ship to you. Thanks!
