FAQs

Yes, in the majority of cases the backs of my hoops are left open. This is not because I’m lazy, at least not entirely. But rather I feel that the messy back of a hoop is, in a way, like seeing the brush strokes of a painting. It reveals the chaos and work behind the image. In some cases some hoop backs are covered. This is usually to secure hanging pieces sewn to the back. If you would prefer the back of your hoop to be covered please let me know and I will sew on a backing.

You will be charged the fee the post office charges me. All shipments are shipped priority and are insured. This is important as all items are hand made, they take a lot of time and effort. If something were to get lost in the mail it’s not only a bummer for you but a loss of time and effort for me. Insuring packages ensures that you will be reimbursed should an item get lost.

I am always happy to work with you to create a custom order. Whether it’s one of my designs in different colors or an idea of your own, I am happy to create something just for you.

Made to order items are those in which the original sold but due to high demand more can be made upon request. To allow time for me to create new designs, popular items are made as ordered.

Most hoops are ready to ship within a few days. Made to order items are made in the order received and can take up to two weeks to ship. While I try to get them done as quickly as possible, It all depends on how many orders are ahead of yours. If you are concerned about whether or not your item will arrive by a certain time, please contact me for a processing time estimate. Because I ship all my hoops via priority mail shipping takes 2-3 days. This is of course dependent on the weather.

Lost/Damaged Packages:
__If a package arrives damaged, please take photos before opening the box. This will make is easier to file an insurance claim with USPS should the items inside be damaged.
__I will not assume responsibility for packages once in the possession of USPS. This includes delayed packages and those marked as “delivered” by USPS. If USPS does loose your package in transit, and does not confirm its delivery, you will be refunded as all shipments are insured. I will not assume responsibility for packages left at the front door or those that may be lost in a mail room. If a package is marked as "delivered" by USPS and it has not been received, the customer will have to contact the local post office or file a claim with USPS online.

Shipping Times:
__Please note the estimated shipping times on the listing of the item you wish to purchase. Made to order items are just that, made to order and not ready to ship next day.
__Please factor in a few extra days for shipping when purchasing made to order items as shipping times are not included with production times.
__Shipping times depend on location but should take between 1-3 business days.
__I will not assume responsibility for packages delayed due to weather.

-All packages are shipped via USPS priority mail with both tracking numbers and insurance. If you would prefer a different, and cheaper, method please contact me and you will be refunded the difference.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason please let me know. Customer satisfaction is very important to me and to the success of this little shop. I do not have a standard return or exchange policy as every situation is handled on a case by case basis. If it is determined that an refund/exchange is in order, please be aware that the customer may be responsible for the cost of shipping when returning an item.

-Each piece is handmade by myself in a smoke free but NOT cat free home.
-Please keep in mind that since this is a handmade piece it does have flaws, no lines are perfectly strait and no two stitches match perfectly.
-There will be slight variations with made to order items as they are all handmade and not recreated with machines. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same.
-While I try my best to capture my pieces in natural lighting, please note that differences in monitor screens and the camera itself may lead to slight variations in color.
-Please be careful with your embroidered piece as threads may snag or catch and pull distorting the design.
