I typically ship within 1-3 business days. If something is a rush, contact me immediately and I will ship it same day IF POSSIBLE or the next business day. I work full time, so depending on when I receive your message, it is simply not possible for me to get to the post office before closing.
Returns & exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Additional return information
If you are unhappy for any reason, I would be pleased to discuss refunds and exchanges. You MUST contact me within 7 days of receipt of the item. This is firm! If we agree to a return, you will have another 5 days to drop the return in the mail and provide a tracking number to me as proof that it's in the mail. I try to describe my items to the best of my ability, noting any flaws I can find and providing pictures as well. Please carefully read each description as well as the provided measurements. I will not accept a return because of a buyer's failure to do so; i.e., wrong size, flaws noted in the description, etc.
Refunds will be issued the in the manner of the original payment. After the item has been returned to me, I will refund the purchase price.
Sewing patterns: I do my best to count every pattern and even to make sure that the pieces match the pattern. Sometimes, though, they do slip by without being counted. If, within seven (7) days of delivery you discover that the pattern is missing pieces, you may contact me for a full refund. I will require that you return the pattern to me and I will also cover the return shipping cost.
ALLERGIES: My things are stored at my home where I have a dog and a cat. If you are sensitive to pets or have pet allergies, please keep this in mind.
Even in the best condition, remember that vintage sewing patterns are still delicate, 70+ year old paper. I like to transfer my pattern pieces onto tracing paper, muslin, or nonfusible interfacing so that I don't risk the original falling to pieces. I recommend that you consider doing the same. A little bit of work now will keep your original pattern safe in the long run.
