This bag pattern only requires 12 2 1/2" wide strips and one additional fabric to make this great, roomy tote bag! Construction is easier than it looks; it employs a simple strip quilting method. Have fun thinking about all of the possibilities!
This bag is lined and has no zippers. It has one large pocket and one small cell phone pocket. It is an easy, quick, basic bag to make.
Finished Size of Tote: 15”tall x 19”wide x 6 1/2” deep
Fabric Requirements 12 Jelly Roll Strips, 2 ½” wide OR 6 ¼ yard cuts of fabric 1 ⅓ yard of fabric for the accent strips, bottom, straps and lining 1 ⅛ yard of décor or medium weight fusible interfacing ( I use Pellon #809) 26” x 44” piece of low loft cotton or cotton mix batting
