Want to learn more about flat bead weaves with stars? This is a compilation of two complete patterns including Night Sky, Kepler's Star, and lots of extra bonus material. This pattern describes several different flat weaves for narrow and wide bracelets, pendants and earrings. Once you get the hang of it, you might find that star weaves sew up faster than other common flat weaves such as peyote stitch or herringbone.
The underlying patterns of star weaves are very regular, so you can repeat them to make patches of beadwork in any size. The pattern includes different examples suitable for bracelets in different widths such as, 27 mm, 40 mm, and 64 mm wide.
This two PDFs explain how to weave a beaded angle weaves and are suitable for advanced beginning and intermediate bead weavers who want to learn more about flat beaded angle weaves. If you like right angle weave (RAW) and want some new challenges, you’ll love this pattern.
The files are 37 pages in all, including over 100 illustrations and photographs. The tutorial is two PDF files that give step-by-step instructions and illustrations for the Night Sky pendants and the narrow bracelet in the photos. Also there are step-by-step instructions for Keplers Star. Additionally, there are many gallery pages with photos and discussion of variations including two pages on Archimedes Star and two pages on Picnic Weave.
