Early American Workshop in New Hampshire has been handcrafting Shaker reproductions for 30 years. John Ryan has been a juried member of the highly regarded League of NH Craftsmen since 1991. His Shaker reproductions are sold in the Shaker villages of New Hampshire and Massachusetts and other fine galleries.

This solid cherry Shaker Box with birdseye maple top is crafted in the tradition of Shaker design. Box is a tall #6 size Shaker box measuring 10 1/2” by 7 1/2”. Height is 5 1/2”.
The band is steamed and hand wrapped around a mold after the overlap finger has been hand carved. Copper tacks are then used to secure the band.
This yarn box can hold two full balls of yarn that feed through brass grommets in the lid.
Each yarn box is stamped and hand signed by the artist. Hang tag with description attached.
