Single ply fingering weight, speckled yarn, on superwash merino wool base. A beautifully variegated colorway of pink, blue, purple, lavender, black, fuchsia, and rust. It is a feast for the eyes (one of my personal favorites!) Merino wool is one of the softest wools you'll ever find, and this one is no exception. Single ply, superwash merino wool, HEAVY fingering weight yarn is perfect for knitting sweaters, hats, mittens, scarves, and shawls. Because it is single ply it is not suited for socks.

This yarn is machine washable, however I highly recommend hand washing in cold/cool water with a mild detergent in order to preserve the quality and color of your fine handmade garments. I very carefully wash and rinse each dyed skein I produce to remove any excess dye, but some colorways may bleed during the first few washings, but don't fear as this is normal for some dye colors.
If you are using two or more skeins of the same Colorway in a project it is necessary to alternate skeins every few rows in order to obtain consistent color results. Although each Colorway that I have listed with multiple skeins are dyed in the same pot together, no two skeins are exactly alike. EACH SKEIN IS UNIQUE!
Please view all of the yarn photos and read my color descriptions before purchasing. I have taken great care to assure that the photographs and descriptions accurately represent the yarn and it's colors, however please be aware that computer monitors, tablets, and phones may not display colors with 100% accuracy.
