10 Eve's Necklace Tree Seeds. Formerly known as Sophora affinis, now Styphnolobium affine. Native Texas tree found throughout The Edward's Plateau, The Hill Country, Central Texas and parts of North Texas. Small deciduous tree which reaches 15-30 feet high, and 10-20 feet across. Beautiful leaves and pink flowers beloved by bees that are followed by very distinctive black seed pods. (I'm told the seeds are poisonous, although I don't know for sure.) In USDA Zones 10-7 they can be grown outdoors; in colder climates they can be grown in containers. Drought tolerant, heat tolerant, and do well in full sun to partial shade. Prefers alkaline soil, but can adapt. Fast growing. All of my seeds come with planting instructions.
