§ - Tanfouk - §
Tanfouk (or talhakimt) are West African amulets typically worn on clothing or as hair or jewelry adornments. Amongst having protective properties, they're believed to be symbolic of new life and resurrection. The circle over the etched lines are thought to represent the sun rising over the desert, a reminder that each day begins anew.
You will receive one (1) red Prosser glass tanfouk pendant, chosen at random. These pendants are extremely old, and some have more patina or signs of wear and tear than others. If you have a preference (lots of patina, no patina, more worn or less worn looking) please include your preferences in the notes section when you checkout and I will attempt to accommodate you, but this all depends on my supply and what I have left.
