PLEASE NOTE: When you work with this sock blank there is 1 strand of yarn throughout. *If you knit 2 socks at a time, you may want to consider a double sock blank, which are also offered here.
A sock blank is a knitted piece of fabric used to knit or crochet. There's no winding to do, unless you want to! There is a right end to work from and a wrong end, but don't worry, there will be no confusion with this sock blank! I clearly mark the right end! There's a little kink in the yarn when unraveling, but tension straightens it out some while you work and the kink will disappear completely after blocking.
Even though it's called a sock blank, you don't have to make socks with it! You can use the yarn to make any project that calls for fingering weight yarn. Sock blanks work great for crochet too and remember, there's no winding just unraveling!
Each devices screens show colors differently and your screen may not be showing the true colors of the yarn. Every effort is taken to show the true colors of the yarn. The single sock blank is a light to dark turquoise and the mini skein is a tonal orange.
**Your knitted/crocheted item will not look the same as the sock blank and there’s no sure way to know what it will look like until you knit or crochet with it, and that’s the fun in using one!
