John Brown's BedQuilt
Two Quilts in a Sawtooth Design
Traditional Quilt Pattern for a Reproduction Quilt.

We pieced a quilt for a historical museum and made a pattern for two different quilts.
Shirlene Wedd & Friends did the quilting on our large model. Quilted by Rosie Mayhew.

99-1/2” x 105” with 10” finished border

We also give you instructions and diagrams for a smaller quilt 58" x 68" with borders to make it larger.

The inspiration quilt was scrappy so this quilt is a good way to show off your repro scrapbag.

Moderate difficulty.
The pattern has small pieces and points need to match to be effective. It's a challenge for the piecer who wants to expand her skills.

The pattern includes
-5 color sheets 8-1/2" x 11"
-Rotary Cutting Instructions for 10" Finished Blocks
-Fast Machine Piecing Instructions
-Fabric Requirements
-Suggestions for several repro looks
-A little history of Florella Brown Adair who lived in the John Brown cabin in Kansas.

Pattern from Barbara Brackman & Karla Menaugh: Sunflower Pattern Co-operative
