Items are typically shipped 1-3 days after payment is received.
I do ship internationally. Let me know what item you want and your location and I will get back to you as soon as possible and list a shipping price for that item(s).
For domestic orders, items are typically shipped by the US Post Office as it is usually the most cost-effective method. First Class and Priority mail for lighter items, Parcel Select for heavier items. I take care with packaging to ensure the item gets to you undamaged. Lower cost, non-breakable items typically are not insured. More expensive items and breakables are insured. Customers must advise if they want an upgrade in the timeliness of shipping, extra insurance, confirmation, etc., this adding to costs. Customers should let me know if they have some preference with how an item is packed.
Jiminyvintage now accepts a wide variety of payments including echecks and US Post Office money orders. If for some reason you can only pay by personal check you will have to wait the full extent of time for the check to clear, this delaying any shipping of the item. If the money order or check has not been received the item will be placed back for sale. International customers are responsible for any customs or duty fees they may incur. A sale may be canceled just up to be point of Shipping.
Returns & exchanges
If your item is insured and breaks or is lost, contact me immediately so I can submit a claim to insurance. If you have concerns, be safe, take the safe route, and ask for insurance on any item shipped to you. I have had years of experience shipping items, so have confidence it will arrive to you safe and sound. Otherwise, damages and losses will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Refunds and exchanges will be handled on a case-by-case basis. For returned items, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping cost and return shipping.
For you Californians, Jiminyvintage turns back the clock, just like the items I sell, on the state sales tax. I remember way back when, in the 1970s, when the state sales tax was 5%. So that's what you'll pay and I'll cover the rest.
