This listing: 10 skeins of Blue Sky Fibers Worsted, a gorgeous hand-dyed 50/50 blend of merino and alpaca. This stuff is incredibly soft to the touch, and the merino gives the alpaca some great fluff and bounce. The orange is a soft creamsicle color, perfectly pumpkin spice latte colored! Because it is hand-dyed, there is some subtle color variance within the skein that is really pretty. They are all the same lot number.
Ten skeins is the ideal quantity for a sweater's weight or two large shawl/wrap projects. All 10 are in the skein and wrappers. This yarn would also make adorable kids' hats (mini-pumpkin, anyone?), sweaters, arm warmers - the 50/50 blend of wool and alpaca makes it super flexible for any project.
Ideas for knitting with it: Purl Soho's Big Herringbone Cowl (the pattern was actually designed with this yarn in mind): https://www.purlsoho.com/create/2011/01/05/whits-knits-big-herringbone-cowl
Kate Davies' Owls Sweater (orange owls!!!): https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/owls-9
It retails for $25 a skein. I'm selling all 10 for $80.
Note: Like all crazy knitters, I have a STASH. And sometimes, even my really, really good stuff has to be cleaned out a bit to keep my family and I sane. You can benefit from my de-stashing with some seriously steep discounts, as I'll occasionally post items for sale here on Etsy, with reasonable shipping within the US!
Please read descriptions carefully, as the yarn is always in excellent condition, but some details may vary (in the skein vs. wound or caked, etc). I keep my yarn stored out of the light, in plastic bags, in my smoke-free home. I encourage everyone to check Ravelry for details on each individual yarn if you're curious to get more details about the manufacturer, samples of what it looks like knit into projects, other pictures of the colorway, etc.!
