Antique Rhinestone and beading Collar and cuffs or epaulets set - Gold & iridescent Applique. This lovely item was purchased in 1973 by my mother who has kept it in this blue cotton pillow case all these years. She also kept the original bag from the shop in Hong Kong, I will send it with the item. She is a wonderful seamstress and had intended to make a caftan and attach these to it. The opportunity never materialized to finish this project. She was busy sewing for the family instead. She has decided to part with this item and asked me to sell it. I am so glad that one of you will be able to use this for your project.
Please check and double check the measurements before ordering. Measurements can be seen in the photos. Differences in color can be accounted for in different lighting such a natural light versus incandescent and other lighting sources.
SHIPPING COST; shipping cost is based upon a mysterious post office system of weight, distance and size. I am a lowly civilian and can estimate the cost of shipping fairly close using the USPO web site.... 1~If shipping/handling, cost turns out to be considerably less than you paid (in excess of $5) I will REFUND some of the excess shipping charges. 2~Has to be there ASAP/yesterday? Send me a message before you put it in your shopping cart, I will get that super express quote to you as soon as I can, so you can make up your mind quickly too. 3~INTERNATIONAL shipping... I will ship there, YOU are Everywhere Else. If it is more than I charged I must learn to do better at estimating shipping. On the rare occasion, International Customs fee and duties might be levied by receiving county; the buyer is responsible for the cost of these. If your country has laws against the sale, shipping or exchange of any of the products I offer for sale please refrain from purchasing, you will be responsible for adhering to the laws of your country. 4~*INSURANCE is optional, not included unless you request it and pay for it. (see loss for more info) 5~~ADDRESS CONFUSION ~ If your Etsy address and your Paypal address(or other forms of payment) are different, I will attempt to contact you to confirm your correct address. If after one week I have not been able to contact you, I will send it to the address I deem most probably correct. 6~~I prefer to send most orders flat rate Priority Mail for the United States, the lowest for small items begins around $6 and goes up from there(the flat rate changes every 6 months or so hard to track but flat rate is usually the best rate). Please be aware international first class mail will be used when ever possible with tracking if available. 7~~Shipping to another address is acceptable, please verify where to send the item and where the invoice should go. 8~I will purchase delivery confirmation/tracking for every shipped purchase that it is available for. As always, any time shipping/handling cost turns out to be considerably less than you paid (in excess of $5) I will refund those excess postal charges with a Paypal refund right away.
APO/FPO - if you buy a lot of items, I have a special shipping box that is somewhat cheaper for those addresses, when I discover that it will work I will apply those shipping charges and refund you any overage... thanks to the US Postal system for allowing cheaper shipping for larger boxes going to those serving overseas!
♫♫♫♫♪♪♪ Even dedicated Crafters need a vacation... If you have decided to purchase an item while I am away on vacation…… I will not be able to ship it until after I return. If you do not wish to wait for the later shipment I will issue a refund of any payments you have made as soon as I return. I hope this will not cause you any inconvenience.
PAYPAL ~ it is the easy, fast and safe way to pay. I have found none better so far. CREDIT CARD ~ If you do not have a paypal account and wish to pay with a credit card, paypal will act to process your card; there are special instructions on how to follow through with this way of paying at checkout. You will not have to get a paypal account. ETSY GIFT CARD ~ ok. PERSONAL CHECK or MONEY ORDER ~ If you wish to pay by check/money order, I will accept a it, however, you must know this will be a long process. I discourage it for that reason alone. Here is how it breaks down.....One week, for your check to get to me, 15 to 25 days for your check to clear at my bank, another week to 10 days for shipping... It has been done and it took a month from first order to completion of sale.
TAXES ~ Washington State residents must be prepared to pay the extra state tax that will be added to the bill at checkout/payment.
CANCELLATION ~ A sale may be canceled for few reasons. 1-Non payment, after at least 3 business days, and some attempts to reach the customer, if no communication has been successful, I will cancel the sale and re-list the item. 2-Customer request, if the customer can satisfy me that they purchased by mistake, I will cancel the sale and re-list the item. 3-If by mutual agreement between the customer and I.
Returns & exchanges
RETURN: You will not want to return one of my creations but, if you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, please contact me within 10 days of receiving your item and let me help resolve the issue. I will do whatever I can to fix it. If the item is returned (also within 10 days) then I will refund your money (less shipping) once the item has been returned to me in its original condition.
LOSS ~ Once a purchase has been delivered to the United States Postal Service, I have no control over it or how it will be handled. I have never had any damage reported, damage or loss must be absorbed by the purchaser. Insurance may cover such loss but must be requested and paid for by the customer prior to shipment.
MAKE ME AN OFFER; Feel Free to "make an offer" on anything that is "older" than a month or so, I might feel like getting it out of my inventory, or I might not. If you don't make the offer you will not know. Or ... I may come back with a counter offer that you might go for. I always have a "make me an offer" sign up during the last few hours of a craft fair, so this is my Etsy equivalent.

I have set up my sewing lab in a separate bedroom. It is not exposed to harsh lighting, smoke or any pets. I then store away my creations in a light proof box, until they are purchased and packed for mailing to their new home. I am certain with these measures in place there will be no, or a minimum of, smells or extra fading of any kind (some items are "aged" on purpose because that is the "look").
