Order fulfillment is within 1-5 days of purchase Monday to Saturday during business hours. It depends on the item and its packaging; we shoot for orders going out 1-2 days of purchase.
We ship USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class for domestic shipments. All international orders go out by USPS and Direct Link, our international shipper. Their shipping times are similar to 1ST CLASS USPS INTL (up to 8 weeks for some packages and this includes planes, your country's customs and seasonal delays).
If you need to meet a special deadline, please factor shipping times in advance. We will do our best to help you meet any deadlines, add gift-wrapping and/or card but cannot know this without YOUR reaching out to us first. Please convo with questions so we can figure out alternatives and give you options. Otherwise, we are not responsible for an item not received within your expedited time frame.
Expedited shipping will cost more, the listing shipping rate amended to reflect that.
International customers: parcels are marked "merchandise." Marking a parcel as "gift" is forbidden, as is falsifying the price on a customs form. We will not do this. You, the customer, are responsible for any tax, import and processing fees incurred by your government's customs not bycinbyhand vintage. We are a US Seller and are not registered in any other country to collect or report VAT or any other import tax, regardless of the language shown under the Etsy list price that reads "VAT included where applicable; " you, the customer, are responsible for any tax, import and processing fees incurred by your government's customs.
International customers, in most cases any delay is due to package being delayed in customs processing in your country. We hope you'll make every effort to follow up with your carrier. Either way, we communicate, we work it out. We send a convo immediately after we've sent your package, with package # for tracking so all parties are clear when it shipped out.
Should ANY item (domestic or intl) be returned to us for 1) incorrect delivery address as provided by Buyer or 2) Buyers' refusal to pay taxes or VAT or provide their customs any documentation as requested, we will refund only cost of item NOT shipping costs paid at purchase &/or return shipping charged Seller. As well, a re-stocking fee of 15% will be applied to refund amount. *** Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to the sender.
Finally, because we recycle packaging materials, shipping price may differ and we issue appropriate overage refund if that difference is at least a $2 more than listed shipping price; you will be informed of this when we convo with shipping details upon return from the post office.

Additional return information
NO RETURNS/REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for buyer's remorse, issues of fit, or 'rental.' These are vintage items. They might show light age, patina, character. Many of them have been cleaned (noted in listings) but, if not (also noted in listings), they may need to be cleaned prior to wear and/or require alterations for proper fit.
** Please review all photos and noted issues. Read descriptions. Check listing measurements and go by THEM for sizing. Convo convo convo prior to purchase. We are ALWAYS happy to provide additional info. Oh, and Pantone color equivalents of items in daylight are provided as basis of comparison as phones and computer screens are different from device to device. **
IN THE RARE EVENT OF A RETURN (for our error or gross misrepresentation), this is our return policy:
Returns must be made within three (3) days of item's receipt. Buyer must initiate it via Etsy convo within 24 hours of receipt of that item. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of Buyer as is the return package until it is delivered to us; tracking and/or delivery confirmation, perhaps insurance, is strongly suggested. Refund will be made via original payment method within three (3) business days of our receipt of the returned item. We will refund the full purchase price of the item MINUS a 15% re-stocking fee MINUS actual original outbound shipping.
Most important, to be eligible for refund, item must be returned in the exact condition it was received and in original packaging, security tags still attached to item in their original position/condition. No odors, perfumes, stains, wear.
Any return sent without following these steps (i.e. first convo'ing us and so forth) will be refused upon receipt and returned to Buyer.
The only exception to the above return rules is for buyers in EU countries where the EU Directive on Consumer Rights is in effect. In this case, a buyer will have the right to return an item within fourteen (14) days of receipt in accordance with the specifics of the above-referenced directive.

Disclaimer for vintage shoes: Vintage shoes - especially from the 60s and 70s - can be made from man-made materials have what we consider an inherent vice (a flaw which might worsen over time): the soles are glued rather than stitched. This glue can degrade with time and the soles *could* come away from the uppers. It's unpredictable for us the seller as it depends on the manufacturer, the type of glue, etc. To guarantee that this never happens, we recommend the buyer takes the precautionary action of having the soles RE-GLUED prior to wearing.
That said, we do not accept returns/give refunds on vintage footwear as they might have an inherent vice because of the materials natural, POSSIBLE deterioration, i.e. glues, etc. THANK YOU.
Measurements are taken with garment buttoned/zipped, lying flat on a table. Double them to compare to your body. Always compare the flat measurements given to YOUR similar garment. Allow for movement too.
We photograph in daylight but because monitors are different from device to device, we also provide Pantone color equivalents in our listings.
