Item details

We lost a truly gifted musician, Glenn Frey. I bet we all have a favorite Eagles song, or can at least sing along with one or two. He will be missed, but not forgotten. In his memory, I made my visual representation of one of my favorite songs, Tequila Sunrise.
Thank you, Glenn Frey.

Soft, 100% cotton in a 4-ply fingering weight yarn in truly beautiful colors! Create amazing finished items that are soft and drape beautifully!

F = Fusion - Each color section is the same length throughout the cake.

Prog. = Progressive - Starts with the shortest color in the center and then each color change gets progressively longer. Perfect for circle or triangle based projects.

Copied by many, but this is the original 6 color sunrise/sunset color. May be spun with either the Yellow in the center or Purple in the center.

Tequila Sunrise

Bright Yellow, Bright Orange
Coral, Hot Pink
Berry, Purple

(I have more of these colors and can make additional cakes if you need them.
Please allow additional time.)

100% cotton - hand wash in cool water
180(+) gr. skein
864 (min.) yd.
Needles: US 2-6 or 2.75-4 mm

This yarn is not dyed, the 4 plies are held, not spun together, as the yarn is wound. Colors are changed at set rates, creating long slow changes of color.

The center pull balls may be worked from either the center or the outside. Knots are very secure and ends may be clipped or worked into the fabric. They will virtually disappear into the fabric.

I have tried to represent the colors as accurately as possible in both description and photos, but please note that monitors may vary in their display of colors.

The sample above was knit using 100 gr. Tequila Sunrise, Fusion Blend, in the pattern "Belle Époque Shawl, by Kira Dulaney.
