Butterick 6998 from circa 1980. Original uncut sewing pattern for women's "loose-fitting" (in 1980's terms) blazer with one, two, or three buttons, deep, notched collar and lapel, patch pockets, and back vent.
This vintage pattern is for American pattern size 6 (Bust 30.5; Waist 23; Hip 32.5). Recommended fabrics: "Soft or crisp fabrics such as gabardine, chino, corduroy, denim, wool crepe, chambray, tweed, wool flannel, and linen." That's quite a variety. The point is you could make this as casual or as dressy as you want, depending on choice of fabric and buttons.
This pattern is hard to find. The envelope is shopworn, but the pattern itself is UNCUT and in pristine condition.
