Hand-dyed warps. I've been winding and dyeing my own yarns since ... always! I've wound some extras to share! I wind and dye all week long and the yarns and color ways change. I use natural fibers, organic when i can get it and try to buy local yarns and re-purposed mill ends. That keeps fibers out of the landfills, gives us all a better price and makes some beautiful work.
I'll list the number of threads, thread size and length. All yarns have been soured and rinsed til clear (no odd pinks unless you want odd pinks!) with a 1/1 single thread cross.A few have a single cross, most have a double cross. When I wind the yarns they measure longer so I underestimate the length as they pull up when off tension and processing. A 4.75 yard warp will weave 2 72 inch scarves with some fringe and loom waste, of course, depends on how you weave. and whether you tie on a dummy warp.
All of the yarns are yarns I am using in my weaving production and I"m pretty familiar with them.
Please contact me with any questions. Thanks for checking out the yarns! kg
