WE WILL NOT SHIP to an unconfirmed US addresses. If you need something shipped to an address other than your main payment service address, please go to 'edit address' in your payment accounts, and "add" your new address and CHOOSE it from the drop-down menu BEFORE you pay for your item using either Etsy or Paypal thanks.
TIMING: We usually ship within 1-3 days. Larger items may take a couple more days to find or manufacture boxes. Items being freighted can take up to 4 weeks to be picked up by the shippers.
We occasionally do antique shows and other venues and reserve the right to cancel a transaction if the item has sold before we get home to our computer to check our Etsy store.
SHIPPING METHODS: Larger items ship in US via usps Parcel Post and Greyhound bus or even national freight lines. If you wish faster shipping on smaller items, convo me with your zip code before you buy so I can change the cheaper PP rate to Priority.
International: Smaller items can be shipped at 1st class rate, which can not be insured or tracked (under 13-oz). If you want insurance and tracking, convo me the name of your country before you buy so I can add the rate for Priority International to the listing. There is a limit to the size of box USPS will accept. And buyer is responsible for paying for all the taxes, fees and custom duties that their country charges on imported items.
Greyhound Bus: If you buy a large item that requires Greyhound shipping, please send us a convo with your phone number, as Greyhound requires it, thanks.

All items we ship in the US have tracking or Delivery Confirmation. We purchase our shipping labels through Etsy, so they should have a record of your tracking number with your payment to us.
WARNING: You should talk to your postmen about what they do with packages. Do they leave them by your door? In your hall? With a neighbor? Inform him, in writing, NOT to leave them on a porch or by your door if the security of those place is unreliable.
We set a very high bar on our packaging.
We use: USPS: 1st Class, Priority, Parcel (US only). We also ship via Greyhound Bus Lines: Furniture items can sometimes go Greyhound (you must pick up at your closest bus station that accepts freight, not all stations do). Freight: We often use Plycon, and they pick up items from us to take to you. Buyers negotiate directly with Plycon, and pay them for shipping, not us.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: large items can NOT be shipped to you. You are responsible for all customs fees / taxes charged by your country, and we can't change the values on customs forms. Delivery time varies country to country, and we are not responsible for delays or damages incurred in shipping abroad. We recommend you insure your purchases.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Our jewelry rates reflect 1st class shipping, which can not be tracked or insured. If you want insurance, convo me with your country and I'll change shipping to reflect Priority and insurance.
Combined shipping rates (on items that can be safely shipped together, and that are purchased the same day) are available.
We accept Paypal and Etsy checkout. Please make payment at time of purchase. Payments must clear prior to shipment.
If you are having problems with Paypal please let us know. We will relist the item if we have not received payment or a response in 48 hours.

Additional return information
Almost all of our items are antique or vintage, and pre-owned. Very RARELY will we have a 'mint' item, one that has never been unpackaged. We expect buyers to understand that all pre-owned items will have signs of use and wear.
We are thorough in our descriptions. If you have further questions or need more photographs to clarify something, please ask before you buy. All sales are final unless we have inadvertently made a substantial misrepresentation in the description.
In that case, notify us immediately. You then have 3 days to return the item in the same packaging, and when we have determined it is the one we shipped, a refund of the original listing price will be made. Original and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
DAMAGED OR LOST ITEMS: In the event of a loss on your insured item, notify me and file an insurance claim. DO NOT RETURN the item to me, the carrier will need to inspect it on-site. Keep the box and ALL packaging material for them to pick up. We will do everything necessary to expedite the claim. REFUNDS on losses are made ONLY AFTER we have received the insurance payment from the carrier or you have, and it can take up to 6 weeks. In 15 years of online antique and collectibles sales, we haven't had many shipping losses, but they can happen.
