His classic , "The Bird of America" was a collection of 435 drawings that he published in the early 1800sThese plates of 20+ Waterfowl are culled from the Macmillan Company reproduction of Audubon's work. The prints include ducks,geese, rails and loons as well as other waterfowl.Macmillan's "The Birds of America" was originally published in 1937. This plate is from the 1942 edition. These are the original plates from the book and are printed on heavy cream paper. Each measures 9" x 12" overall.Remember that these plates is more than 70 years old, but they are in nice, frameable shape.
