They are vintage book prints removed from "Favorite Audubon Birds of America" published by Crown Publishing, Inc. in 1982.
The plates were reproduced from Audubon's original paintings that he published in England from 1827 - 1838.
Included are pics of the Cardinal, Great Horned Owl, Flamingo, Passenger Pigeon, Bald Eagle, Bachman's Warbler, Fish Crow, Merlin, Vesper Sparrow, Whistling Swan, Blue Jay, Summer Tanager, Snowy Owl, Oystercatcher, White Gyrfalcon, Canada Warbler, Mangrove Cuckoo, Fork-tailed Flycatcher, Baltimore Oriole, White-Crowned Sparrow, Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker, Least Bittern, Towhee, and White-Winged Crossbill.
Each plate measure approximately 8 1/2" x 12" and is on heavy paper. All are in good vintage shape. Each has one edge that isn't smooth where it was removed from the book. There may be some darkening around the edges of the prints, but it doesn't affect the pics of the birds.
The prints will be shipped flat with solid backing for protection.
