You are looking at a set of TWO (2) Antique Cabinet Latches. These latches came out of an early 1800s farmhouse. They were used as latches on the bottom cabinets of a built-in bookcase.
I believe the latches are cast iron, as well as also potentially being painted black. Both latches are not bent at all, and operate perfectly fine. Also included is the original screws, which seem to have some kind of ornate stamping on the head.
The piece with the actual latch attached to it measures approximately 2 1/4" long, and 1/2" wide.
The separate piece in which the latch sits measures approximately 2 1/2" tall, and 1/2" wide. The screws are 1/2" screws.
