This listing is for a set of 19th Century hand painted enamel buttons that I have attached to a facsimile of an early 20th Century Bluebird button card. There are TWO (2) sets available.
The buttons are precious. They are dark blue enamel with hand painted pink, red and green floral designs. They are gold toned brass and are octagonal in shape. They are really sweet.
These are NBS diminutive, measuring 5/16" point to point. They each have a wire loop shank on the back.
They are in very good, antique condition. I have included several pictures which are a big part of my description. Please be sure to view them all so you will have a good idea what you are considering. Close-up photos show things not easily seen with the naked eye. I don't see anything negative to mention. Just a lovely lot of teeny treasures.
These would be wonderful for making doll clothes for antique dolls. They are also very collectible from the stand point of button collecting. It's always amazing to me how much detail button manufacturers can fit into such a small area. Don't miss the opportunity to add these to your creative stash.
