For many years, I made and sold Organic Lavender Sachets under the name of HEAVEN SCENT SACHETS. Had a website and everything. Sold them at craft fairs, online, christmas shows, church bazaars, etc.
Finally, the lavender got to me and I could no longer work with it without a mask, so I decided it was time to move on and away from the lavender dust. I guess I could have stuffed them with fiberfill, but it just wasn't the same.
When I was sorting through my storage unit I came across a lot of sachets that I had already cut out, pinned some of them, but didn't get around to filling yet. That's where you come in.
Offered here are the wing shapes that I had cut out of cotton to make wing sachets. The last two photos are samples to show you how I finished off one of mine and are not included in this offering. I sewed all of them with the seams on the outside, and were tied with ribbon and flowers and were sold individually. When I lost two of my children, i turned to making wings. As maybe you can see, I made an effort to find fabrics that had some kind of fish scales to them or feather shapes. They can be filled with lavender or fiberfill.
There are too many to count and the sizes are mainly 6" X 6". I sold a lot of these at three different farmer's markets in the Sierra as well as La Jolla.
