Vintage Ink bottles with interesting glass shapes, a wonderful history and a bit of dried ink in each.
Most is these bottles are from the 1930’s to 1940’s.
The Carter’s Jr Cube desk set is a black soft rubber nib pen holder with a square area that fits a Carters perfectly. This measures 3 1/2 inches X 2 1/ 16 inches. In the nib pen holder is a Vintage American Pencil Co. with an Easterbrook drip - less nib.
Two completely different Pelican ink bottles. One with the embossed Pelican on the lid, one with a rubber stopper.
A sweet quilted pressed glass bottle by Sanford ink that held Red ink.
And a Skrip bottle by Sheaffer, with a built in ink well.
All the bottles have signs of use & wear, torn labels and a bit of rust.
These collectible ink bottles are still filled with inks and used by Artists and Calligraphers.
For vintage display these are great !
