12 Citrasolv pages made with National Geographic magazines. Size is approximately 6 3/4 inches by 10 inches. Photos are of the actual pack you will receive and are what I call "good" quality. There is only the faintest type on some of the pages and each page successfully altered. See my ratings key at the bottom for more information.
NOTE: the papers in this pack are coated with Liquitex matte medium. They show very, very faint brush marks when held at an angle. The matte medium dulls the sheen of the glossy paper and gives the surface a better "tooth" for painting, printmaking etc.., Several brands of paint marker (Molotow, Posca, Krink, Sharpie) also work very well on them. The medium does increase tack, so store accordingly. Ships with non-adhering wax coated deli paper as separators.
Item ships in the US only. If you live outside the US and want to order, please contact me or consider buying a digital pack and printing them out yourself.
The pages are intended for personal or commercial use, but are not to be scanned and sold, unaltered, as digital assets or art. For example:
You CAN paint on a page, scan it, and upload to Redbubble to be printed on stickers etc.
You CAN'T take an unaltered page, scan it, and upload it as the sole design for stickers etc.
You CAN use the papers as collage elements and sell the collage.
You CAN mount a page on a panel and sell the original. You CAN'T scan it or photograph it, unaltered, and sell prints.
I realize this may be confusing, so it you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I just don't want my work mass produced and sold as is. If you treat it like a blank canvas, you should be fine :)
BEST QUALITY - only the highest quality papers with brilliant colors and/or a well defined pattern made with additional tools such as acrylic medium. I rarely get more than 3-4 of these pages per batch and only occasionally sell them.
GOOD QUALITY - these papers are fully altered and show little to no type or discernible imagery. Color quality varies, but usually falls somewhere in the middle of brilliant and mud. You get quite a bit of yellow in this category and sometimes there are patterns.
JUNK QUALITY - these papers have type showing and sometimes imagery that would have to be altered or covered up in order to be used commercially. Colors may be dark or a little muddy, and some have blocks of text or two photos on a page that didn't run together. There are some hidden gems, though. The junk pages are too good to go in the trash, but didn't make the cut for a good quality pack.
