Item details

The robin's egg glaze makes the center glaze outperform... never would've imagined they'd make such a pair.

These buttons make nice additions to hair bands, bags, leather cuffs, and as focal points for necklaces, or the base for a brooch design.

Don't use a standard shank, if you don't want to: knot two separate lengths of fiber, pass each through a hole, and tie them in the back, then fix them to your garment...be creative :)

Weight: 5 grams / .1 oz -- very lightweight, won't drag on your work.

Holes have no sharp edges: these won't fall off after opening any
Backs are polished smooth: no ceramic tooth to fray your fibers.

Approximately 1-3/8"

Clean smooth and signed on the reverse.

Completed in one firing, reducing the fuel normally used to make ceramic items.

All of my buttons are individually handmade. There are subtle variations in shape, color and design, befitting handmade work.

Additional policies

I occasionally, and reluctantly, do custom work. My schedule & the need to complete an entire kiln-load of work before I can fire your order, leave me happy to do what I do best: original, nearly one-of-kind items on my own schedule (I know my limits!). If you must have it, can wait patiently and enjoy persuading reluctant artists, have a try ;)
