While this yarn is superwash and dyed with professional washfast dyes, I recommend hand washing to prolong the life of your project(s). Because this yarn is uniquely hand-dyed, I also recommend alternating skeins as necessary for larger, multi-skein projects.

Please be aware that yardages are approximate and monitor colors may not accurately reflect this yarn's actual color. I have taken every care possible to use natural lighting and have color-accurate photos, but some colors are more difficult to accurately photograph.

I have washed this yarn in several processes after dyeing to make every attempt to prevent color bleeding, including a round of soaking it in vinegar to both remove residual soap and excess dye - then washing it again for a final round with a wool wash soap. Please still use caution if you intend to pair this yarn with an off-white, white or natural-colored yarn.

If you are interested in a specific quantity of skeins in this color, please contact me and I can setup a custom order for you.

FAQs

Currently, the yarn bases I use are superwash - they can be laundered on gentle cycles - but I highly recommend hand-washing all hand-knits (and hand-crochets) to add longevity to your precious knit/crochet item.

I happily accept custom orders - but please be advised that they may take 2 weeks to process and will also depend on the availability of a yarn base from the mill.

Please be advised: I currently screen my fiber for knots from the mill during my re-skeining processes (before and after dyeing), but knots may have slipped by my watchful eyes in my first rounds of dyeing. In some instances, I have "hardened" a found knot after I have dyed the skein, but I fear with the earliest skeins from the mill that a knot may exist in a skein and slipped by my eyes! Please be advised that if this is the case, the mill's knots are very loose and may have come undone. I sincerely hope this is not the case so that no one receives a skein with detached ends mid-skein - but, if this is the case, please know this is not a defect in the skein, but an unsatisfactory by-product of the mill.

Please be advised: at this time, I am unable to accept returns or exchanges on in-stock items purchased. I am also unable to accept returns, exchanges or cancellations on custom orders. Please email me at hopje@hopjarn.com if you have a concern or complaint about a purchase and I will try to respond by the next business day with the hope of resolving the issue. Thank you for your understanding at this moment of my small business' growth. I do not wish to diminish or damage my brand quality, but my resources for stock loss are also limited by my growth.
