We ship live plants daily. They ship Priority Mail only!!!! If we are shipping to areas that are still having freezing temps then I suggest you have us Ship Priority and have us mark to hold at post office for pick up. So they do not freeze waiting for you to come home from work... You are responsible for this as we expect otherwise you will be home to receive items.
Once you receive them pot up in nice loose soil that holds moisture. But good Drainage... Water thoroughly, and place in bright area - not full sun... (you can slowly move them to full sun over about a 1 - 2 week period). Water regularly, once plants start to grow then you can fertilize lightly with 10-10-10 liquid.

PLANTS WILL BE STRESSED SOME FROM THE TRAVEL.
A LITTLE LOVE AND THEY WILL BE JUST FINE!!
This plant likes to eat... So once established... Fertilize often and keep moist - Do not over water.

THE FUNGICIDE IS VERY IMPORTANT - IT IS A PRACTICE USED IN ALL COMMERCIAL GREENHOUSES... SO USE IT YOURSELF



Thank you for your purchase… here is a quick little note for some tips for a good healthy start to your plants….

PLEASE NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE SHIPMENT.. Including sending photos if need

We have no control on how our customers take care of the plants... I cannot do anything for you if you delay in letting me know there is a problem... We will not send unhealthy plants...

Your plants just traveled a long way and were cooped up, wrapped in plastic and paper…. They do not really like that…

Think of them as live animal in a box... you would not leave the animal in there... take them out right away and get them some fresh air

To ensure strong healthy plants…. We suggest to spray the plants with a fungicide (plant disease control) as its almost guarantee that with the cooped up box they were in they will have developed a fungus issue – that includes black spots on the leaves or the possibility of them rotting at the base (it may not show right away) and the plant just dies for no apparent reason…

Pot your plants in a good well drained plant medium or if they are large enough you can install them in the ground…

MAKE SURE YOU WATER THEM

After 2 – 4 days you can water the plants with ½ strength fertilizer every time you water if you desire…

DO NOT FERTILIZE WHEN YOU FIRST GET THEM – fertilize plants also fertilizes the fungus if its there and it will spread faster… give it a few days for the fungicide spraying to take effect…. Be sure to spray the base were they meet the soil very good

It's always good practice to use fungicide treatment every 14 – 21 days to help keep your plants happy and healthy.

Update 10/4/2016 - Seems to be some confusion...
ALL OUR PLANTS SHIP WITH OUT THE POTS unless it specifically tells you to ignore the part that comes with out the pot...
We ONLY ship the following plants in pots = Hanging Baskets / Planters,
3 Gal potted plants
some 6" potted plants & Some 8" potted plants
The smaller plants do not ship in pots because;
1 = We can fit more in a box without the pots. = The lowest shipping fees
2 = We find that the plant do not get damaged as much since there is not hard plastic in the box to damage the leaves of neighboring plants in the box.
3 = If you want the pot = Some times its possible for us to ship with pots but we will have to adjust your shipping costs for this and YOU WILL NEED TO SEND A MESSAGE PRIOR TO PURCHASE stating you want the pot and ask us for shipping cost for your plant(s)
4= Many plants grow in trays and pot size is measurement of the cell - We use wording of potted plant because many times we have more than 1 plant in a pot and if i call it 2 plants and the pot comes with 2 plants then many think they get - lets say 1 pot -
we sell our plants as a pot size with 1 to multiple plants in a pot = Depending on the plants. It is specified in the listing...
We are forced to add the info to the listings as it is up to you to read and understand what you are getting... IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION. THEN YOU NEED TO ASK BEFORE YOU PURCHASE.
It will not be long before we will need to hire and Attorney to add fine print to the listings as I TRY so hard to be VERY clear... and it really irks me when someone is mad because the plants do not arrive in a pot...
The pots are JUNK - commercial pots VERY thin for economy and most times damaged anyway.. Most times plants are in need of the next size pot or planted in the ground also...
We wrap the root ball(s) in Cellophane to act as the pot for travel...... We ship a lot of plants and are a small company... We can not afford damage so we do everything we can for you to make sure your plants arrive safe so you & we do not have issues

I do not want any more cases open or neg feedback because the plant arrived not in pot



If you are ordering this item and its going to be traveling thru areas of extreme cold. We offer heat packs that will hold temp up for up to 72 hours... These packs are 5.99 ea = That includes the add'l shipping costs that will In-cure because of the added weight. We usually do not have a problem with items that travel during winter unless someone is not home to receive the package... However if the item freezes during travel and you do not request a heat pack.... We can not guarantee it arrives safely. Again We usually do not have a problem with shipping but this is your call... If you want a heat pack = then you must notify us on a SEPARATE message to invoice you for one...
Many plants will need more than one heat pack.

The plants come in different sizes and different growing cycles. If you need to know the specific size that the plant will get to for your area, then you need to please google that information for your area because I only know my area in Florida

Please google the questions that you have for care on your plant for your area. Everybody has different growing conditions and it depends on the soil, fertilizer, watering, light, etc...I have no way of knowing what you have and what your growing conditions are, so please do your homework. I know that sounds harsh, but I sell and ship ALOT of plants and I answer TONS of questions--some of the questions you can find the answer for yourself. Thank you for your help

I am more then happy to add a personalized note for you to your order. I do have just plain note cards that I can include as a courtesy and to make it easier for you. Please make sure that you send the message with your order and then send a message to make sure that I received it or saw it. I will try my best to accommodate you at no additional charge :-) Thanks

No I do not because the plant has already been traveling packed into a box and it will not be able to sustain another trip back to me--usually. I try my hardest to pull nice and healthy plants for shipment. I would NEVER knowly ship the wrong item or a dead item. What possible purpose would I accomplish by that? You do have to realize that the plant will be or could be a little grumpy from the travel time in a dark, damp box. This is a live plant and not a plastic artificial one, so please open the box as soon as you receive it , so that the plant can breath again. We are human and do make mistakes--not very often--but it does happen. In that case, please just let me know and I will fix the error.

We are not able to offer a NORMAL 3 day return policy for plants as we do for merchandise. Plants are shipped in excellent condition by Priority Mail, and we secure the rootball and plant in a box. If, for some reason, the plant arrives dead or broken due to something we did, then we will refund the purchase price or send a replacement-OUR CHOICE You must notify us of ANY problem within 24 hours of delivery(not weeks AFTER delivery), and send digital photos that substantiate your claim, NO PHOTOS, NO CLAIM. At least 2 good photos. Once you've had the plant for longer than that, then there is nothing I can do Also if you have done anything to the plant to change from original plant shipped, then there is not anything that I can do

I can NOT grow your plant for you. I would never send a broken or bad plant. Things happen during travel that is out of my control, so please do not be upset with me if the post office messed up your delivery. Priority mail does come with insurance, so I am able to file a claim and I can usually resend another item to you, depending on my stock. Returns and replacements will be handled on a case by case basis. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we will do everything that we can to help you because we LOVE returning customers.
