This tote is a super carry-all design that will carry an amazing amount of stuff and spread the load on your shoulder with a comfy wide strap. I designed it for a friend who needs to carry around everything including the kitchen sink to look after her baby on the run. I was inspired by those baby slings you see that distribute the baby’s weight across one shoulder with a super wide strap – no more cutting into your shoulder or groaning under the weight. And it makes a great gift too! The body of the bag measures 21" across and 15.5" down and the handle measures 26" from hip to shoulder when worn.
For this pattern you will need 1 metre (40”) of a medium weight fabric for the outside of the bag – this allows for a one way design on the fabric and assumes the fabric is at least 118cm (46 ½”) wide. If you are using a plain fabric you can sneak the pieces out of 60 cm(24”) of fabric if you’re careful. You will also need 1 metre (40”) of a lighter weight fabric for the bag lining – the same fabric amounts apply as above. All seam allowances have been included in the pattern pieces and are ¼” unless otherwise stated.
The pattern is supplied to you as two PDF files. One containing the instructions with colour pictures and tips to get you through. The other is a printer friendly file for the pattern itself. All pattern pieces have been carefully and accurately hand drawn with plenty of easy to read labelling. Just print on A4 or US Letter size paper and sticky tape the sheets together at the edges in a row from left to right in the order of the page numbers. These files are now available for instant digital download but I am still available to assist you at teapotandsnail [!at] gmail.com.
I am happy for you to sell your finished bags on Etsy as long as you credit Teapot & Snail as the designer on your page and do not mass produce the bag.
If you are interested in the actual bag rather than the pattern, I am currently sewing a bunch of OOAK Sling totes - convo me for more info.

Obviously, due to the nature of the product, Teapot and Snail is not able to provide refunds on PDF patterns. However if you find for example that you have chosen a pattern that doesn't suit your needs, email me at email@example.com as I may be able to help you find a way to make the pattern more useful to you.
I have previously altered bag patterns/instructions to suit unusual sizes and to fit the needs of a person withe a disability. If you have a special need for a bag please let me know before purchasing and I will see what I can do.
